The word Reiki is Japanese for Universal Life Force Energy (ULFE). Universal Life Force Energy is the energy we draw from the universe. Reiki is a way to channel energy into individuals whom have been attuned to receive this increased energy. When a practitioner places his/her hands on an individual, the practitioner is receiving powerful healing energy from the universe. The practitioner is a conduit for this energy. The person receiving this energy is then able to unblock their energy centers, which then opens the path for self-healing. When these energy centers are open and balanced, the four body levels: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual will enable one to let go, breathe, and heal naturally.
